20 SAGENT ADDS FORMER BANK OF AMERICA AND ROOSTIFY EXECS Sagent, a fintech company modernizing mortgage and consumer loan servicing for America's top banks and lenders, appointed banking veteran David Doyle as EVP of Business Development and technology veteran Jesse Decker as EVP of Customer Success. ese hires, the first in a series by new CEO Dan Sogorka who joined in March, accelerate Sagent's vision to remake loan servicing and homeownership from the consumer perspective. Sagent, which already powers the homeownership and consumer lending experience for 12 million borrowers, was formed in 2018 as a joint venture between Fiserv and Warburg Pincus to innovate fast and enable large banks and lenders to give America's borrowers the same bank-on-your- phone experience they get in every other aspect of their lives. "For too long, mortgage servicing has lacked the consumer-first approach," Sogorka said. "is is especially important when millions of borrowers are strained by the COVID economy. Sagent is here to fix that for banks and lenders who service loans, and that's why we're building a world-class executive team with the right combination of experience, energy, and grit." David Doyle, EVP of Business Development, joins Sagent following a 24- year career at Bank of America where he led a number of large, transformative programs with titles including National Sales Executive, Consumer Lending's COO, Products & Pricing Executive for Consumer Lending, and Home Loans Underwriting & Fulfillment Executive. Doyle's expertise is especially relevant in the COVID-19 era. Following the 2008 financial crisis, he leveraged this experience at the industry and regulatory levels to help restore the health of the housing finance system. Jesse Decker, EVP of Customer Success, brings over 20 years' experience in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors leading IT strategy and system design, development and implementation, program and project management, and strategic planning and organizational improvement efforts. Most recently, Jesse led and developed customer-facing teams at top mortgage origination fintechs Roostify and Cloudvirga, which serve America's largest banks and lenders. She also spent 15 years in tech strategy for America's largest consulting firms, as well as many years in a boutique firm founded by ex- Deloitte partners. Under Doyle and Decker's leadership, Sagent will continue to partner with and support America's largest lenders in caring for customers using the most modern technology, lowering servicing costs, ensuring compliance, and increasing the value of servicing rights throughout full market cycles. NATALIE KOONCE JOINS WFG NATIONAL TITLE INSURANCE AS VP, NATIONAL ESCROW ADVISOR WFG National Title Insurance Company (WFG), a Portland-based, full-service provider of title insurance and real estate settlement services for commercial and residential transactions nationwide, has announced that Natalie Koonce has joined the company as its VP, National Escrow Advisor. Koonce, who most recently served as President of the Colorado Division of North American Title of Colorado, will provide guidance to her division's escrow managers and staff regarding best practices as well as company escrow policies and procedures applicable to escrow operations across the country. She will also monitor regulatory and legislative changes, review, and implement best practices in the settlement services industry across the country and make recommendations to executive management regarding settlement services. "Natalie is a proven leader,""said Joseph McCabe, WFG Executive VP and General Counsel, in announcing the appointment. "During a distinguished career in positions of responsibility, she substantially grew each company's market share, client base, staff, and reputation within the industry. She has a remarkable ability to generate excellence from her teams through personal encouragement and motivation. We're lucky to have her join our WFG team." Said Koonce, "I'm very excited to join WFG, especially as they launch their second decade. I look forward to contributing to WFG's dependability for its title agents to deliver accurate, reliable services to clients. But I will also work to create an environment in which our staff and our associates are able to perform beyond their expectations." As President of North American Title of Colorado's Colorado Division, Koonce managed operations of 11 branches and 80 associates. During her first full year in that position, she returned the division to profitability, exceeding its revenue goal by 16% and decreasing expenses by 5% year-over-year. She then managed the division through an acquisition and divestiture, adjusting strategies to accommodate changes while supporting associates, and then implemented new strategies to meet growth and revenue targets. Prior to her role as President, she was NATC's Mountain Region Settlement Services Manager. is involved serving as liaison for CFPB/ TRID implementation by coordinating with legal, compliance, division presidents, and escrow departments for four states, as well as preparing escrow teams and division presidents for the ALTA Best Practice Certifications audit. In her role as the company's Southern Colorado VP, her area became the company's most profitable with its consistently largest market share. She oversaw revenue growth of more than 200% while doubling team size through recruiting and stabilization efforts she introduced. Koonce entered the title world in 2000, at Stewart Title, where she began her seven-year stint first as Transaction Coordinator, an extension of the sales team. Within her first two years, she was promoted to Branch Manager, closing transactions for both residential and commercial properties. She moved to Empire Title in 2007, where she served as an Escrow Officer, working with real estate agents, assistants, transaction coordinators, lenders, attorneys, surveyors, processors, title examiners, vendors, buyers, and sellers. She tripled personal annual closing volume, helping the company earn the top market share. Koonce has her Title License through the Colorado Division of Insurance and is a Notary Public, a member of the Pikes Peak and Colorado Associations of Realtors, and both the Land Title Association of Colorado and the American Land Title Association. She continues to be actively involved with numerous professional, charity, and community groups including the National Charity League, the Girl Scouts, the Women's Council of Realtors, and the NAT Cares Program, of which she is a founding member.
