8 THE APP SPECTRUM TECHNOLOGY FOR ON-THE-GO DEFAULT SERVICING PROFESSIONALS Bouncer With privacy no longer something you can take for granted in our always-online world, Bouncer can give you a little bit more control—at least when it comes to third-party apps. Bouncer provides the ability to control not only which apps have permission to access things like your camera but also how long those permissions last. Sure, you might want to take and post a picture to Facebook directly, but that doesn't mean you'd be comfortable with Facebook having carte blanche access to your camera in the future. Bouncer, which is currently in beta, can help. e service is paid but only costs $0.99. Box offers sharing, storage, backup, and the ability to sync your work across PC, Mac, and most mobile devices. e free version includes 10GB of free space to work with, but there are also several paid options that include up to 100GB of storage space, making it a solid solution for teams. It also includes options to set expiration dates and passwords for files being shared outside your team or company, as well as a host of permissions options that help you determine who sees what and who has access to your files. Android, iOS, free/paid CloudCal CloudCal offers a unique way to get a handle on your day. CloudCal divides your day's meetings and appointments into visual representations they call "Magic Circles." Essentially, these are clock faces that divide your day's lineup into color- coded segments. e Magic Circles make it a snap to get a sense of how crowded your schedule is, and which parts of the day are still free. Naturally, CloudCal syncs with most popular applications such as Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, Evernote, and Facebook. CloudCal also allows you to dictate your plans—for instance, "Meeting with Bob on Friday at noon"—and the built-in "Smart Bot" will then create an appointment within CloudCal. Android, free Tweetbot Having a strong social media presence is nearly mandatory for businesses in 2018, and a well-executed strategy in this area can build customer awareness and keep you from going viral (in a bad way). Still, the Twitter app may not offer all the function- ality you'd prefer, and if that's the case, then Tweetbot may be the ideal third-party alternative. Tweetbot provides a sleek, easy user interface, the ability to mute users or hashtags, and a host of statistical and analytical options to help dig into how your brand is performing on the platform. iOS, paid Notion A full-featured project-management tool that's ideal for both business and personal use, Notion could be just what the doctor ordered for anyone looking for alternatives to Google Keep or Evernote. Upgrade your digital notes with options such as bul- leted or numbered lists, numbered pages, and more. Notion even lets you combine tasks and activities, as well as lets you coordinate and sync your changes across your team. Everything is accomplished through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, and Notion can even help you create a wiki to help keep track of your company's internal knowledge base. Android, iOS, paid
